David Ruff

Stewart Osborne

David is a founding partner of NAVA and heads the architecture and design team from project ideation through construction management. David is responsible for the visionary aesthetics that distinguishes NAVA projects. Prior to co-founding NAVA, David was President of Design Laboratories LLC, an international architecture and design firm with projects in the US, Europe, India and China. Notably, David was the principal responsible for the Red Bull North American HQ., the Brooklyn Academy of Music Capital Improvement Project, a 13 acre redevelopment master plan for downtown Las Vegas, design aspects of the Track and Field Hall of Fame and over 500,000 square feet of high end private residential. David has taught graduate studios at the Pratt Institute and Parsons School of Design in New York City. David holds a BSE in Mechanical Engineering from Duke University. David studied graduate architecture at Princeton University and Columbia University where he earned his Masters of Architecture.

Stewart has more than 20 years of experience as an architect, developer and construction manager - having designed and built a range of projects in Africa, Asia, Europe, and North America. Stewart is responsible for adding and creating value through all aspects of the development process - from feasibility analysis, construction management, and ultimately the project marketing and sales. Prior to founding NAVA, Stewart worked as the Director of Development for Corigin Real Estate Group, a privately owned multi-platform real estate investment and development company. There he participated in the development and management of over 2.3 million sf of real estate projects. Stewart managed all aspects of the development and sale of CANCOlofts, a 1 million sf multi-phase, mixed use development. Other notable projects he has managed include the Virgin Spa @ Natirar; THE LOFT @ 30 Crosby St, an ultra-luxury Soho loft conversion; and the Nokia Theater @ Times Square, the award-winning music venue for the Anschutz Enterainment Group. Stewart attended the University of Pennsylvania’s Masters of Architecture program, where he was honored with the prestigious Van Alen Fellowship.
